We’re still smiling after what was such a wonderful conference!

As exhibitors, we had the pleasure of meeting so many fantastic people, connecting with fellow book lovers, chatting with booksellers, authors, readers, and industry professionals, and sharing a little bit of what we’re building at Amuni Books. We came away feeling incredibly encouraged, inspired, and grateful for all the conversations, enthusiasm, and support we received.

And, of course, we can’t forget our very special four-legged team member, Jack!

Our mascot dog had an absolutely brilliant time meeting everyone. There were so many new friends to greet and so much attention to soak up. We’re fairly certain our furry colleague would happily attend conferences every weekend if given the opportunity! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and made Jack’s day so special. You certainly made ours, too.

Growing Together, One Book at a Time

One of the most exciting things to come out of the conference was the tremendous interest in our books and the conversations about getting them into more hands, more bookshops, and more corners of the world.

We’re listening, we’re taking notes, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to expand our distribution network and make our titles more accessible internationally.

As an independent publishing house, however, growing a global distribution network is a rather complicated undertaking. Getting books into different countries and markets involves a great deal of logistics, relationships, planning, and behind-the-scenes work. We want to get it right, rather than promise something we can’t reliably deliver.

So, if you’ve spoken with us about stocking our books, ordering for your non-profit, or bringing our titles to your community members and loved ones, please bear with us as we work through the process. Your enthusiasm has meant a great deal to us, and we’re excited to rise to the occasion. Genuinely, we had no idea so many people would love our books, and we cannot tell you how much it has meant to us.

Some of you heard our founder’s story last week and know just how dedicated she has been to making these books more than just literature. They are truly adaptive tools, and we are in awe of the support.

In the meantime, we can help arrange larger orders directly. If you’re a bookseller, retailer, organization, or simply someone interested in placing a substantial order, please get in touch with us. We’d love to hear from you and will do our best to find a way to make it happen. We’ve created a brand new page on the website just for wholesale order inquiries.  Even individuals that want to order a complete library set are welcome to reach out for discounted prices.

Thank You for Making It Special

Most of all, we want to thank the conference organizers for putting together such a fantastic event, and everyone who visited our stand, took an interest in our books, shared ideas, offered encouragement, or simply stopped for a chat. We knew we weren’t the typical exhibitor at the United Way Summit, and we will be forever grateful they took a chance on us.

We’re a small independent publisher with big ambitions, and we’re so excited about what comes next. Thank you for being part of our story — we’re looking forward to growing with you.
